Canada and the Global South

This course examines the relationship between Canada and the Global South and will provide students with a deeper understanding of Canada in the global setting. Topics covered shall include various dimensions of corporate and governmental roles in the South, such as the impact of Canadian corporate investment and practices, foreign investment and security policies, and community mobilization and resistance.
