Dedicated to representing the interests of graduate students and advancing students’ and workers’ rights across and beyond campus, the York University Graduate Students’ Association also offers a health plan, advocacy, funding, event space, tax help and food support.

Multi-Faith Spaces

Multi-Faith Spaces provide religious services and peaceful meditation rooms for individual introspection and quiet prayer. It also provides office space for many of the faith-based student clubs.

University Health Insurance Plan

The York International UHIP webpage provides students with UHIP information and FAQs on their health coverage. If you require one-on-one support, email uhip@yorku.ca (always including your student number).

The Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion

This centre provides accessible, impartial, non-adversarial and confidential programs and services that uphold human rights, enable equitable access to opportunities, and champion diversity and inclusion.

Support Groups for Students

York has introduced new specialized support groups for students looking to speak with peers. If you are looking to speak with other racialized students or members of York’s LGBTQ2S+ community, there are new services available.

Food Support Centre
