Students in Professor Teresa Abbruzzese’s Urban Planning course in the Department of Social Science visited 307, the central office and experimental site for Sidewalk Labs in Toronto. 307 is a space dedicated to the co-creation of ideas facilitating Sidewalk’s vision of “people-centred urban innovation.” The site operates as a living laboratory and space for visitors to explore and provide feedback on current technologies and design conceptualizations for smart cities. Amina Mohamed led the site visit.
