Tell prospective students a bit about the work you do.
I currently work as an advisor with the Ministry of Health developing policies and programs specifically geared towards improving the lives of children and youth with mental health and addictions across the province. Majority of the work involves consultation with lead agencies, ADM, and Ministers in briefing them on contentious issues, funding packages and various programs around the province that can mitigate problems with mental health and addictions affecting our youths.
Tell prospective students a bit about how your studies at York helped you to get where you are today.
Studies at York helped me develop skills to not only think critically, but to think “outside the box.” MPPAL offers students real life experience in a class room setting that can be applied in the real world.
