Awarded to an undergraduate student who is majoring in one of the programs in the Department of Equity Studies, who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, a resident of Ontario, and demonstrates financial need. The recipient will have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 6.00 (B). Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a commitment to fighting social injustices including discrimination, racism and poverty as demonstrated through community/school-based activities.

Please complete and submit FAAS profile - with special attention to the 'Financial' section. Applicants must also list their commitment to fighting social injustices including discrimination, racism and poverty as demonstrated through community/school-based activities in the 'Engagement' section. Recipients will be selected based on those who successfully meet the award criteria and have financial need.
