This award will be given to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies who demonstrates leadership in making a difference in African-Canadian communities. The recipient of this award must be be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, residents of Ontario and must demonstrate financial need. This award is in memory of Chantel Dunn, a second year student who was a driven individual, striving for excellence in her studies with dreams to pursue a career in law. Chantel was fatally wounded on February 7, 2006; a victim of gun violence.

Please complete and submit FAAS profile with attention to financial sections well as listing leadership involvement in the African-Canadian communities in the 'Engagement' section. Recipients must successfully meet the award criteria and have financial need.
