The Leonardo Cianfarani Memorial Award for Travel to Italy supports a student (undergraduate and graduate) in the Faculty of liberal Arts and Professional Studies who is taking part in an experiential educational opportunity in Italy. The recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected person, Ontario Residents and who demonstrate financial need. This bursary is named after the late Leonardo Cianfarani who was an eminent member, and one of the early champions of Toronto's Italian community.
