The Martin Singer Award for Dedication to Student Engagement recognizes a member of the Council of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (SCOLAPS) whose work in governance and in advancing the interests of SCOLAPS displays a commitment to excellence in student engagement. The award honours a member who has made a unique contribution to the development of the council and demonstrated a deep appreciation for the student voice. The recipient has not only been a strong voice for students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, but has mentored others to carry on the strong tradition of SCOLAPS.
