Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies who is making progress toward their degree academically, and who is in need of emergency financial support in order to continue their studies at York University. The student's financial status (i.e. whether or not they are in arrears) will be irrelevant to the decision to award this bursary. The recipient must demonstrate financial need, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person and be a resident of Ontario.
