Apply to work with the Student Success Team in LA&PS! Gain leadership skills, build York pride and contribute to student life – all while working on-campus or virtually. The LA&PS Student Success Team works with our students, faculty and staff to enhance your academic experience with paid part-time work-study opportunities.

We’re hiring for positions in each of our colleges (Founders, McLaughlin, New College, Vanier) and through the Dean's Office in the areas of peer mentoring, events, leadership programs, international student success, outreach, alumni events and more. There are positions in advising, PASS, YU Explore and Academic Integrity & Student Awards. If you have an interest in the arts, apply for a position with Vanier College Productions, specifically in the areas of company/production management, alumni engagement, marketing/communications, video editing, technical theatre design (lighting, sound, projections), props/costumes, and show choir.

As part of your work study experience, you will be asked to participate in Becoming YU – a new program designed to support students in creating meaningful goals and objectives, recognize the value of your experiences, identify the leadership and career competencies you gain through these experiences and confidently articulate your skills and experiences, whether it’s for a future job or further education opportunity.  Throughout your work/study experience you will have the opportunity to meet regularly with your coach to set goals and objectives, report and reflect on your progress and get valuable feedback.
