Are you looking to improve your English language skills in your first year at York University?
The Integrated Year 1 Undergraduate Program (IYOUP) is a new initiative for applicants who don’t yet meet the language proficiency requirements for their academic program. It has been specifically designed to support students entering their first year of undergraduate studies who want to improve their English language skills while learning about Canadian culture. The IYOUP offers an admission pathway to students who meet the academic requirements for admission to an undergraduate program with an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.0 (or equivalent).
This unique program will let you enjoy all that York has to offer in your first year and study alongside other undergraduate students in your chosen academic program.
