TORONTO, January 19, 1996: The first Artbox York exhibition featuring works of sculpture, painting, photography, design and mixed media, by seven York University MFA students, opens Jan.20, 1996, at York's Downtown Management Centre of the Schulich School of Business. A reception will be held from 2 to 5 p.m.

The show comprises a juried selection of artwork by students and alumni of York's Graduate Program in Visual Arts.

Works by David Abecassis, Jacob Boone, Joan Dymianiw, Michael Maynard, Gregory McHarg, Wendy Muir and Carl Tacon will be on display.

The exhibition runs until Jan. 1997.

York's Downtown Management Centre is located at 222 Bay St., 5th floor, Ernst & Young Tower, Toronto Dominion Centre, Toronto.
