Group Interviews

Lastly, another ethnography feminist research method is conducting group interviews, which is a communicative event enabling "women to exchange experiences, build on each otheršs ideas and enhance awareness of their situation in a way similar to the processes of consciousness-raising groups"L.Van Zoonen, p.138. Group interviews allow different people from different cultural backgrounds to discuss their personal experiences on various issues. It allows them to answer questions and to relate to one another; however, sometimes it may not produce valuable information because the participants may feel uncomfortable with each other.
