These pertain to a wide variety of areas, including environmental and insurance law, as well as broader legal frameworks that address (or, in many cases,\u00a0<em>don't<\/em>) issues such as climate change.<\/p>\n<p>A simple search in our catalogue for the term \"climate change\" (using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Search\/Advanced\">advanced search<\/a> to limit a subject search to Osgoode-only) yields <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Search\/Results?lookfor0%5B%5D=climate+change&amp;lookfor0%5B%5D=&amp;lookfor0%5B%5D=&amp;type0%5B%5D=Subject&amp;join1=AND&amp;lookfor1%5B%5D=&amp;lookfor1%5B%5D=&amp;lookfor1%5B%5D=&amp;type1%5B%5D=AllFields&amp;join2=AND&amp;lookfor2%5B%5D=&amp;lookfor2%5B%5D=&amp;lookfor2%5B%5D=&amp;type2%5B%5D=AllFields&amp;daterange%5B%5D=publishDate&amp;publishDatefrom=&amp;publishDateto=&amp;filter%5B%5D=location_str_mv%3A%22Osgoode+Hall+Law+School+Library%22\">89 results for Osgoode alone<\/a>, including a recent publication on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Record\/3046190\">local climate change law<\/a>. Perhaps somebody should let Norm Kelly (the former Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/city_hall\/2013\/01\/29\/torontos_environment_chair_again_expresses_doubt_about_global_warming.html\">know about it.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.ca\/2013\/07\/09\/toronto-flood-ferrari-video_n_3566474.html\">enduring images<\/a> from the flood was from a lawyer's Ferrari submerged in a downtown underpass. It is worth noting that the lawyer was quoted in the\u00a0<em>Toronto Star<\/em> as saying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wheels.ca\/news\/toronto-lawyer-abandons-flooded-ferrari-to-rush-to-case\/\">\"that's what insurance companies are for\"<\/a>. While it is true that these storms lead to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/business\/2013\/07\/10\/storm_damage_could_cost_millions_insurers_say.html\">huge numbers of claims<\/a>, it is also true that there will likely be a corresponding increase in rates. Especially if you drive a Ferrari. We have no shortage of books pertaining to all areas of insurance law, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Search\/Results?lookfor=insurance&amp;type=Subject&amp;filter%5B%5D=location_str_mv%3A%22Osgoode+Hall+Law+School+Library%22&amp;filter%5B%5D=source_str%3A%22Catalogue%22&amp;filter%5B%5D=topic_facet%3A%22Property+insurance%22&amp;view=list\">property insurance<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Search\/Results?lookfor=insurance&amp;type=Subject&amp;filter%5B%5D=location_str_mv%3A%22Osgoode+Hall+Law+School+Library%22&amp;filter%5B%5D=source_str%3A%22Catalogue%22&amp;filter%5B%5D=topic_facet%3A%22Insurance+companies%22&amp;view=list\">insurance companies<\/a>, and plain old <a
