Please note that you will be able to check in at 3:00 p.m. and check out at 12:00 noon.
To check in, go to the Gerald Lalor Flats reception where you will be given your key and shown to your flat. The reception is officially open between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. However, outside of the official working hours, security personnel will be assigned to the reception area 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., to facilitate the check in of guests and to attend to other guest related matters.
The flats contain bedding and towels.

Local Travel:
We advise you to take a JUTA taxi from the Norman Manley International Airport to The Gerald Lalor Flats, The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Kingston 7. The estimated cost of a JUTA taxi from The Norman Manley International Airport to The University of the West Indies is $54 CAD/$40 USD/$5,600JMD. You are encouraged to book a taxi via WhatsApp at 876-782-0563 prior to arrival. For more information, on transport please click here.
Please note that a JUTA Kingston Chapter is available at the Norman Manley International Airport where you will be able to make the necessary arrangements for transfer if you were unable to pre-book.

Currency Exchange:
Please consider doing currency exchange in the UK/Caribbean Region prior to entering Jamaica, especially if you plan to arrive on a Sunday when most Cambios will be closed. Additionally, currency exchange can be done at the Norman Manley International Airport prior to entering the customs hall.
