Join us for a compelling exploration of women’s creativity, agency, and influence within Nigeria’s vibrant Fuji music scene.

Prof. Saheed Aderinto is a filmmaker and Professor of History and African and African Diaspora Studies at Florida International University. He is the author of numerous works, including his recently completed monograph, Fuji: The History of an African Popular Culture. The Women of Fuji, the second episode of his Fuji documentary film, premiered in Lagos on 8 March as part of the International Women’s Day celebration.
