Program Description:
Canada’s wealth management industry is rapidly evolving as fintech platforms such as Wealthsimple attract younger investors with low-cost services, simple digital experiences, and mobile-first investment tools. As these platforms grow, traditional banks must rethink their products, pricing models, and customer engagement strategies to remain competitive.
In this project-based program, students analyze how fintech companies have disrupted the investment landscape and explore how established banks can respond. Working in teams, participants evaluate fintech business models, identify emerging market trends, and develop strategic recommendations for banks seeking to attract and retain the next generation of investors.
