Intensifying Canada-ASEAN Economic Relations in the Face of Tariff Disruptions

Third annual Canada-ASEAN economic symposium

All are invited to this third annual Canada-ASEAN economic symposium. The topics of discussion include: 1) What’s next for Canada’s economic relationships with ASEAN in the face of tariff disruptions; and 2) Perceptions in ASEAN of prospects for intensifying economic ties with Canada in the face of tariff disruptions.

Speakers and panelists include representatives of Global Affairs Canada including Aaron Fowler, Chief Trade Negotiator, Global Affairs Canada; Goldy Hyder, CEO of the Business Council of Canada; Vina Nadjibulla, Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, Senator Yuen Pau Woo, academics and four Southeast Asian ambassadors.
