Meenakshi Shedde is an award-winning, independent film curator, critic, journalist and consultant, shaping global perceptions of Indian, South Asian cinema for 40 years, based in Mumbai, India. She has worked in Indian and South Asian programming for 26 years for the Berlin Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival TIFF, Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festivals, and festivals worldwide. She has been on the jury of 25 film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin and Venice; Golden Globe Awards International Voter 2022-23,and is Member, Asia Pacific Screen Academy (APSA Australia).

Presented by the Department of Cinema and Media Arts with the York Centre for Asian Research at York University.
