Group Members / Ian Frankel

Ian Frankel was born in Toronto and raised in Aurora, Ontario. He graduated from Carleton University in 2019 with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry, concentration in Nanotechnology. His thesis focused on the synthesis of a novel organic ligand for atomic layer deposition (ALD) precursors. Ian joined the Hili group in the fall of 2019 and is working on DNA-encoded library synthesis. In his free time he enjoys D&D when he can get a group together, origami, but is really just waiting for the winter to snowboard.
