Canada: Inclusion at a Crossroads 2018

The Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion (REI) is committed to promoting the principles of equity and inclusion on its campuses. As part of these efforts we seek to bring open and honest conversations to the forefront, raise awareness and ultimately work with the community to drive these values throughout the university’s activities.



The Centre and its partners have developed two panels to be held on separate days, to explore the themes of human rights, equity and inclusion in an era of rising global populism.



October 3, 2018 will feature a panel discussion from 11:30am-1:00pm. The theme “Equity and Inclusion in the Era of Racial Backlash” in the Helliwell Centre, 1014 Osgoode.



October 4, 2018 will see a panel focusing on “Challenging Hate: Human Rights, Freedom, and Responsibilities” in the Helliwell Centre, 1014, Osgoode, from 12:30-2:00pm
