Chan Zuckerberg Initiative: Pediatric Networks for the Human Cell Atlas Request for Applications

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative invites applications for its new Pediatric Networks for the Human Cell Atlas (HCA) Request for Applications (RFA). This initiative is focused on supporting collaborative teams of researchers to contribute healthy, single-cell reference data for pediatric tissue samples to the (HCA). A summary is provided below. 

Objectives To support proposals from established teams as well as new collaborations, including international collaborations that will make significant contributions toward single-cell reference data for the community of patients, clinicians, and researchers engaged in pediatric research 

Eligibility 

Teams should consist of at least 3 and up to 10 principal investigators, including at least one computational biologist or data scientist, one pediatrician actively engaged in clinical care, and one expert in single-cell biology. Community-engaged researchers should be involved in the collaboration to help provide, promote, and build culturally competent connections with the research participants and members of their community.

Projects that may be supported by this RFA likely require different resourcing levels, therefore a budget limit has not been set on a per project basis.

Full proposal due at ORS for full review Tuesday, March 16, 2021 
Final proposal and fully signed ORS Checklist due at ORS for required review by 9:00 am Friday, March 26, 2021 
Full proposal due at agency By 5:00pm Pacific Time on Tuesday, March 30, 2021
