“Math for Real” program provides Grades 9-12 students, their teachers and parents with deeper experience on how mathematics can explain our world and what working with mathematics is alike in everyday life

Fractals offer mathematical models to describe or simulate natural occurring patterns in modern society. For example, our cell phones use fractal antenna to maximize antenna length while remain compact in space. Animators use fractal to generate mountains, clouds or waves in movie.

This showcase offers the public magical experience of various examples of real-life fractals and beautiful kaleidoscopic fractals.
