Alicia Pinter
Alicia Pinter currently holds the role of Executive Assistant in the Office of the Vice-President, Division of Equity, People & Culture, where she brings extensive experience in governance, leadership, and institutional operations.
Alicia is the co-founder and inaugural President of the York University Black Staff Network (YUBSN) and contributes to institutional decision-making through her involvement on key committees, advisory groups, and equity-focused initiatives. She is recognized for her authentic and compassionate leadership and is committed to fostering a culture of belonging, engagement, and meaningful connection across the university community.
Passionate about building strong relationships and elevating diverse voices, Alicia is dedicated to advancing inclusive excellence and creating lasting impact within the higher education sector. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, attending concerts, following soccer and athletics, and spending quality time with her family.
