Engagement, Education & Knowledge Exchange
Interested in engaging equity at York and looking to build capacity ? We provide workshops, training, community events, and knowledge exchange opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
We also provide guidance, consultation and support for teams across the different divisions and faculties at York - from planning, developing as well as conducting their own DEDI initiatives.

Workplace Restoration
Led by the new Director on Workplace Restoration & Culture, CHREI offers capacity building for working and communicating constructively to avert and mitigate interpersonal conflict, as well as restoring trust in the event of conflict.

Join a Committee
The Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion (CHREI) consults and guides the university community on best practices to instill Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion in all facets of York’s operations and governance.
Student Placements & Internships
We accept students who seek professional experience and demonstrate a keen interest in human rights, equity, and inclusion. We have ongoing partnerships with the Department of Communications & Media Studies, Osgoode Hall Law School, The School of Social Work and the Department of Equity Studies.
