Subject: Service Advisory: Enforcement of "secure RPC with the Netlogon secure channel" for domain joined devices, November 2, 2020

UIT Service Advisory

We are informing our partners that Microsoft will be enforcing "secure RPC with the Netlogon secure channel" for domain-joined devices.  This enforcement will be in effect during our standard Microsoft patch schedule in February 2021.

There are a number of WinXP, Win7, legacy Win10 releases and legacy Windows Server systems that are domain joined.  We strongly advise our partners to replace and/or upgrade those domain joined legacy systems before February 9, 2021.

We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
