UIT ICT Infrastructure team will be performing the following data center network maintenance on Friday, June 25 to Saturday, June 26, and on Monday, June 28 to Friday, July 16.
Data Centre Network change CR5c - Friday, June 25, 10 p.m. until Saturday, June 26, 7 a.m.
UIT ICT Infrastructure team will perform maintenance on the Data Centre network at the Keele campus. The maintenance will allow the team to move subnets protected by the firewall system from the old network to the new data centre network.
During this maintenance period, there will be intermittent outages from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. on June 26 that could last up to 60 minutes to major University applications such as the University's main website, eClass, eReports etc.
All IT systems should be back to regular operation by 7 a.m.
Data Centre Network change CR6 - Monday, June 28 until Friday, July 16
The server infrastructure that hosts many University systems will be gradually moved from the legacy network switches to the new network switches. No outages are expected for any services during this change.
