DHCP Setup for Mac OSX 10.7

Step 1 - Configure your device to obtain network settings automatically

  1. Click on the Apple Menu and select System Preferences. Under Internet and Network, click Network.Screenshot of system preferences pop-up
  2. From the left-hand sidebar, select Ethernet and ensure that the setting under Configure is Using DHCP.Screenshot of network pop-up
  3. Click Apply and close the Network window.
