Description
The York Drop Box is a way to send, share or transfer files larger than will work as email. attachments. A file is uploaded to the York network, then an email message is sent to the recipient with a link to download that file.
How do I get it?
- York Drop Box is free for anyone with a Passport York account.
- Upload file(s):
Go to dropbox.yorku.ca. Enter your Passport York username and password when prompted. Fill in the "Select File" and "Recipient(s) Email " field; then, click on the "Upload File and Send Notification" button. The recipient will receive an email message with a link for downloading the file(s). - Note: File names cannot contain any spaces
- Download file(s):
The recipient clicks on the download link in the email message. - File(s) must be downloaded within 3 days, after which they will expire from Drop Box.
