The 2024 York Cares United Way Campaign is accepting credit card donations until Dec. 31, contributing to this year’s totals.
Staff and faculty at York University have already raised an impressive $90,030 for this year’s York Cares United Way Campaign. However, more support is needed to achieve the University's goal of $150,000, which will help fund local organizations through the United Way Greater Toronto.
As a community of changemakers, York University is dedicated to creating positive change for our students, colleagues and the wider community. Individual contributions can make a significant impact – every dollar counts.
Your support will:
- help people meet essential needs through mental health supports, food security initiatives, employment programs and housing assistance;
- help create economic opportunities in neighbourhoods most affected by the pandemic, advocating for emergency paid leave and affordable housing; and
- help strengthen the infrastructure of agencies serving marginalized communities, particularly Indigenous- and Black-led organizations, to challenge and change systems of bias and discrimination.
Join the University in supporting this vital cause and making a tangible difference in the community. Together, we can create a better future for all.
