
The Principal's Teaching Excellence Award honour those who, through innovation and/or commitment, enhance the quality of teaching and learning at Glendon College.
The award further recognizes candidates who foster deep intellectual and personal growth in students by creating inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environments.
Past recipients have been chosen for their ability to promote critical thinking, skill development and academic confidence, while also mentoring students, encouraging research involvement and using diverse teaching approaches. They contribute to the broader educational community through ongoing pedagogical research, mentoring peers, curriculum development and engagement with institutional priorities that enhance student learning.
There are three award categories:
- Contract faculty;
- Full-time faculty with 10 or more years of full-time teaching experience; and
- Full-time faculty with less than 10 years of full-time teaching experience.
Faculty, students and alumni may make nominations for faculty who have taught at Glendon for at least three years.
Recipients of the awards will receive a certificate signed by the principal and will be recognized at a reception.
All nominations must be submitted by Monday, June 30.
