Georgette Wong Sak Hoi, who served the Glendon College community for over two decades, died on July 15 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre surrounded by family.

She joined the York University community in 1992 in the French Studies departments, first at Atkinson, then at Glendon College, before joining the Office of Student Programs (now Academic Services).
She was a consistent presence in Student Services, helping to guide and assist generations of students throughout their academic journeys and contributing to the daily operations and continuity of campus life.
“While each member of our community leaves a unique imprint, Georgette’s long tenure stands as a testament to her commitment to the institution,” said Glendon Principal Marco Fiola.
“She will be remembered by colleagues who worked alongside her and by those who interacted with her throughout the years.”
