I am pleased to announce that nominations for the 2025 President’s Staff Recognition Awards are now open.
These annual awards honour York University staff who exemplify outstanding service, leadership, creativity and dedication. Their contributions strengthen our community, advance our academic mission and support a more inclusive, collaborative and forward-looking institution. The awards provide an important opportunity to acknowledge colleagues whose efforts, often carried out behind the scenes, have created meaningful and lasting impact.
I encourage you to consider nominating an individual or team whose work has contributed significantly to the success and well-being of the York community. Nominations are invited for the following awards:
- The Deborah Hobson York Citizenship Award
- Excellence in Decolonization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (DEDI) Award
- The Gary Brewer Emerging Leader Award
- The Phyllis Clark Campus Service Award
- The President’s Leadership Award
- Ronald Kent Medal
- The Harriet Lewis Team Award for Service Excellence
- President’s Voice of York Award
