
Members of the York University community are invited to participate in the York University Dining Survey.
The annual survey, led by Food & Vending Services, is part of the University's ongoing commitment to enhance the campus dining experience and aims to gather insights into the quality and variety of food, services and overall satisfaction at various residence and retail locations operated by YU Eats.
In response to previous survey results, Food & Vending Services implemented many improvements this year. Stong, Winters and Central Square dining halls received upgrades with new chairs and tables, making the dining experience more comfortable and modern. As well, a new food concept was introduced with Burrito Loco at Glendon Campus and Keele Campus’ Winters dining hall to increase choice and variety.
Community feedback the University understand preferences, highlights areas for improvement and helps guide future plans.
The survey will focus on the following YU Eats-run locations only:
- Residence: Stong and Winters dining halls
- Central Square: cafeteria, Pizza Pizza, Starbucks, Subway, Tim Hortons
- Centre for Film & Theatre: Starbucks
- Curtis Lecture Hall: Booster Juice
- Lassonde Building: Palgong Tea
- Osgoode Hall Law School: Osgoode Bistro
- Victor Philip Dahdaleh Building: Tim Hortons
- William Small Centre: Tim Hortons
- Glendon Campus: Marché
- Markham Campus: Markham Café
Participation in the survey is voluntary and all responses are confidential. The survey closes Feb. 13 and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. It is available in French.
Those who participate can enter to win one of three $200 Flex Dollars (students) or one of three $100 Flex Dollars (staff and faculty) on their YU-Card by providing their name and email address at the end of the survey.
