The Autism Project: Students with autism fend for themselves<\/a>
\nIsabel Killoran<\/strong>, a professor at York University\u2019s Faculty of Education and former special education teacher, says a teacher\u2019s greatest challenge is that \u201cno two children with autism are the same,\u201d reported the Toronto Star<\/em> Nov. 12. She teaches a 36-hour course in special education, helping teachers learn common strategies that can help in class, depending on the child\u2019s needs. Children with autism think and learn differently. They need organization and structure, lessons in social skills and how to manage stress; they don\u2019t tolerate a lot of noise and distractions. Killoran\u2019s big message though: behaviour is communication. \u201cIt\u2019s our job to be detective and figure out what\u2019s triggering the behaviour. Senator who owns CFL teams backs single-game betting<\/a>
\nAlan Middleton<\/strong>, a marketing professor with York University\u2019s Schulich School of Business, said there's no doubt allowing single-game betting would benefit the CFL financially by raising the excitement and interest surrounding the games and by deterring the NFL from moving north. \"Is it likely that the other leagues will take some kind of defensive action because of this?
