During the week of April 15, another tower crane assembly began in the Steeles Avenue West and Northwest Gate neighbourhood, west of the Toronto Track & Field Centre.<\/p>\n

The new crane will be located at the Black Creek Pioneer Village site on the north end of York University\u2019s Keele campus (crane locations shown on map below). Another crane is anticipated for the north side of the construction site later this year.<\/p>\n

\"TowerCrane\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tower cranes support the transfer of building materials into the excavation site while building the station and portions of the tunnel.<\/p>\n
