Mamdouh Shoukri, president & vice-chancellor of York University, has issued the following statement:<\/em><\/p>\n

The York University community is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic bus accident last evening resulting in the death of Radika Nankissoor, a valued member of York\u2019s staff.\u00a0 We extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends and co-workers at this difficult time. York University will pay tribute to Ms. Nankissoor and her contributions to the University at a future date.<\/p>\n

A York University student was injured in the accident and we are reaching out to support her. Another of the injured is an alumnus of York. Our thoughts are with all of those involved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
