The forum will take place on <strong>Thursday, April 7 <\/strong>from 9:30 a.m. to noon and will be held over Zoom. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"members-of-the-university-community-are-invited-to-attend-the-senate-sponsored-planning-forum-on-thursday-april-7-from-9-30-a-m-to-noon-via-zoom-the-21st-century-learning-challenges-and-opportunities-for-diversifying-whom-how-and-what-we-teach-forum-will-serve-as-a-venue-to-discuss-pursuing-inclusive-excellence-within-the-curriculum-and-teaching-in-view-of-the-innovations-in-pedagogy-that-have-advanced-the-physical-and-virtual-capacity-for-learning\">The \"21st Century Learning: Challenges and Opportunities for Diversifying Whom, How and What We Teach\" forum will serve as a venue to discuss pursuing inclusive excellence within the curriculum and teaching given the innovations in pedagogy that have advanced the physical and virtual capacity for learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Senate's Academic Policy, Planning and Research Committee forum will be an opportunity to examine the role of both in-person learning and online learning in delivering York University\u2019s mission. It will offer a venue to share the advantages and disadvantages that emerged during the pandemic regarding the virtual delivery of programming that had been designed for in-person learning. The forum will also provide an opportunity for participants to begin discussions about how these insights might best inform course and program delivery in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s planning forum will be a virtual session that includes two components: a panel discussion at the outset on key topics of the theme and small break-out group discussions that will rely heavily on audience participation. Three framing questions will guide the small group discussions.
