As part of planned updates to the University\u2019s current two-factor authentication service, University Information Technology (UIT) is deploying an extra layer of security through the use of one-time passcodes.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This change, which go into effect <strong>Oct. 17<\/strong>, will ask users to enter a three-digit passcode during the login process. This additional layer of security helps prevent users from accepting a malicious login request \u2013 a type of phishing attack that has been encountered at the University. These one-time passcodes will be time-based and refresh every 30 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more detailed information about the change, visit the <a
