York's 2005 United Way Employee Campaign to raise $185,000 flipped into high gear Tuesday as York President & Vice-chancellor Lorna R. Marsden and a team of deans and administration officials served up pancakes for breakfast bright and early.<\/P>

York\u2019s cheerleaders, the spirit squad and the Lions mascots lent their energy to the early morning assignment as did members of York is U who were on hand to shout out the message to everyone within ear shot of the Cetnral Square Cafeteria.<\/P>
\n

The 2005 campaign, which runs until Nov. 23, continues tomorrow with a Bake Sale at York Printing Services Student Copy Centre, 163 Central Square. Student staff volunteers will be on hand from 10am until 2pm - or while the baked goods last. Copy centre staff will be offering a selection of donated homemade and commercial baked goods to sweeten your day.<\/P>
\n

Next week, the campaign resumes with York\u2019s squeaky clean Facilities Services Annual United Way Carwash on Nov. 9. This year's event takes place from 2-6pm in the old 1B lot located just east of the Schulich School of Business. On Nov. 10, the Student Services Centres is holding a Bagel Breakfast.<\/P>
