The following is a message from York's Facilities Development.<\/p>\n

Road closure<\/p>\n

In order to complete a storm sewer connection, Ian Macdonald Boulevard from Vanier Lane to York Boulevard westbound will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, Dec. 7<\/b>. Access to the York Lanes Parking Structure will remain open to traffic.<\/p>\n

Asphalt paving<\/p>\n

We expect that final surface paving on Ian Macdonald Boulevard will proceed sometime next week (the week of Dec. 9-14). <\/strong>The paving process is weather sensitive, so a decision on exact dates\/times will be made next week. We will send out a follow-up notice once this date is determined.<\/p>\n

The work will be completed in two phases. Preparation of the asphalt base will take approximately 1\/2 day. Asphalt surfacing will proceed the following day, and should be completed in one day.<\/p>\n

Each phase of this work requires closure of the Ian Macdonald Blvd. northbound lane, from Vanier Lane to Fine Arts Road. There will be two short-term closures, each of about 30 minutes, where York Boulevard westbound and eastbound will be closed. The contractor will provide traffic control. Expect delays when travelling through this area.<\/p>\n
