The eight-team tournament boasts the top five teams from the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and the number one team from the Quebec Student Sports Federation (QSSF).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/yfile\/photos\/20021220\/logo_yeomen.jpg\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"8\" \/>The host York Yeomen (6-4, fourth in OUA) open the tournament against the Western Mustangs (5-5, fifth in OUA). The Yeomen started the season strong but struggled near the end of the first half due to a rash of injuries. Following a month off, York enters the second half of the season healthy and ready to challenge for the OUA title. York''s Domingo Miguel is third in CIS in kills (3.83\/set) and fourth in points (4.75\/set).<\/p>\n<p>The tournament begins at 1pm Friday, Jan. 4 and runs through to Sunday, Jan. 5 with the championship final set for 3pm.
