For students not sure where their arts degree might take them, the Faculty of Arts is offering a series of information sessions ranging from how to get into law school, to study-abroad opportunities in order to give students an idea of their future career options.<\/P>

The annual Career Development Series features seven sessions offer strategies for applying to graduate programs as well as information about different careers. The free 90-minute sessions take place in the Senate Chamber, N940 Ross Bldg., at 3pm.<\/P>

<\/EM>John Mahaffy, senior academic adviser, Faculty of Arts Student Academic Centre, and representatives from Seneca College and Centennial College, describe the Joint Program in Communication Arts, which allows students to combine a York degree program with a community college diploma in fields such as advertising, public relations, publishing and broadcast media. <\/P>
