CN conductors also work on GO trains . The strike could occur as early as Feb. 10. An agreement has been made between CN and the union representing the conductors&nbsp;which will&nbsp;allow GO trains to continue to operate if there is a strike. If circumstances should change, there are a number of&nbsp;options for members of the York community who rely on GO trains to get to and from the Keele campus. <\/p>\n<p>GO Train passengers from Barrie, Bradford, East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, Aurora, King City and Maple have the following alternative options: <\/p>\n<p><strong>GO Transit:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Newmarket -York University GO buses (GO buses are not affected by the dispute).&nbsp;<br \/>\nVisit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gotransit.com\">GO Transit<\/a> Web site for specific route, schedule and connection information&nbsp;to Barrie, Ont.,&nbsp;or call 1-888-GET-ON-GO (416-869-3200).<\/p>\n<p><strong>VIVA - York Region Transit:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>VIVA Blue (Yonge Street from Newmarket to Yonge &amp; Highway&nbsp;7; transfer to VIVA purple to York University). <\/li>\n<li>Maple Passengers can use the Keele 107 (York Region Transit bus contracted by the TTC) which travels along Keele Street. <\/li>\n<li>Maple Passengers can utilize York Region Transit&nbsp;Route 20 which travels along Jane Street. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yrt.ca\">York Region Transit<\/a> Web&nbsp;site&nbsp;for specific route and schedule information, or call 1-866-MOVE-YRT (1-866-668-3979)<\/p>\n<p>Passengers using the GO train between York University and Union Station can use the Spadina subway to York University. Transfer to the 196 York University Rocket which travels to the Harry Arthurs Common. Visit the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ttc.ca\" rel=\"noopener\">Toronto Transit Commission<\/a>&nbsp;Web site, or call 416-393-INFO (416-393-4636) for specific route information and schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Commute &ndash; North Toronto, Vaughan has a carpool database which will assist community members in finding a ride-match.
