ELLA Altitude

Take your business to new heights. ELLA Altitude is a 4-month accelerator program designed for women entrepreneurs who are ready to scale their business rapidly.

What to expect

You’ve made it this far, now get access to the expert advice you need to fast-track your learning and accelerate your growth. You will be matched with a mentor who will work with you to define goals and coach you to achieve them. You will work with a fractional executive who helps you build a strategy in a particular area of your business (marketing, operations, finance) so you can reach new levels. You will also meet with a leadership coach who will help hone your leadership skills.

ELLA gives you access to an inclusive community of women entrepreneurs who span across many backgrounds, industries, and specializations.

Leadership development

You will also develop your leadership skills and your ability to grow with your company by working with our in-house leadership coach

Growth frameworks

Receive individualized guidance by working with dedicated growth mentors who provide strategic & tactical guidance to help your acquire new customers or reach untapped markets. Upon completion, participants should understand how to acquire customers on a larger scale.

Milestone driven

Each pillar of support has been carefully designed to help you define and work towards specific milestones. Whether it is about becoming an effective leader or projecting business performance, the Altitude program will inspire a mindset change that will help you redefine the way you operate your business to reach new heights.

Program eligibility

You are a woman entrepreneur with at least 50% ownership of a registered business, non-profit or social enterprise, and you are working full-time on your venture
Your business earns at least $200,000 in revenues annually*
You have significant traction in your industry and are ready to scale your business to new heights
Your business is located in Canada
You are open to change, looking to step out of your comfort zone

* Special considerations made for non-profit organizations and social enterprises

Frequently asked

Please note that attendance at mentorship meetings, Progress Check-ins, Mastermind Sessions, and Leadership sessions is mandatory. However, we understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. If you are not able to make a session, please email us at ellawomen@yorku.ca to let us know and make alternate arrangements.

Ofﬁcial ELLA programming is designed for the participants and is facilitated in such a way that creates a safe space for the participants who were accepted into the program; therefore, only ofﬁcially accepted participants can attend ELLA programming. For any external related events hosted by ELLA and community partners, external guests may attend.
