YURA Café: YU-CARE and the Certificate in Aging

YURA Café - Tuesday, April 18, 2023  -  10 a.m. via Zoom

Please join us for a session that introduces us to the new cross-disciplinary Certificate in Aging being offered to students enrolled in degree programs in the Faculty of Health that capitalizes on the work of research faculty in YU-CARE, the York University Centre for Aging Research and Education.  Our principal guest for this session will be Dr. Gary R. Turner, Associate Professor of Psychology and YU-CARE researcher, whose teaching and research focus on cognitive neuroscience and neurorehabilitation.

If you are feeling isolated, cut off from seeing friends and family, or just wanting to visit with other York retirees, this informal Zoom coffee hour moderated by Fran Wilkinson, professor emerita of psychology, allows you to get together with other YURA members to discuss topics of common interest, to chat and often to chuckle.

Registered YURA members receive an email invitation to attend the YURA Café (with the Zoom link) several days in advance of the event.
