Hi,
York has sent out an email with ‘next steps’ information which pertain to establishing online access, without password info (http://www.yorku.ca/laps/disted/nextsteps/index.htm). The ‘internet course’ links direct you to either the course website (York) or this blog. There are no other instructions on how to recieve your password and this email clearly states that no other information will be sent by mail.
What should I be doing?
- Thanks!
Muna, the password will be sent early next week to registered students at the email address on file with York (usually a yorku account). If you are not sure what email York has for you, then you need to figure that out by calling the School of HRM administrative offices. David
Hi Professor,
I was just wondering what chapters from the text correspond with what lectures? Should we read chapter 1 with lecture 1 and so on? Or is it more important to focus on the blogs and supplemental readings?
Lisa, the outline tells you what readings correspond to the lectures.
Hi prof, I just noticed that there is no s6 (supplemental readings) posted in week 2. Can you please check it because when i open the new link, it has some missing pages.
Hello Professor Doorey, I have two questions.
1. Is the final exam going to be accumulative or on the material AFTER the midterm?
2. When will the marks for the midterm be up?
Thanks a lot!
Jag, I’ve answered the question about when the marks will be back on the blog. The final exam is cumulative, but mostly weighted post midterm.
Hi Prof,
How where can I get your email address to message you.
Lucrecia, my email is on the outline.
Hi Professor Doorey
Have you written/published any books on Canadian Industrial Relations (other than texts)? I am interested to read them/any if you have after the course is completed. Also, is there any way to continue to follow your thoughts on Canadian Industrial Relations after the course and, if yes, what is best method for me to “stay in touch.” You’re an awesome professor!
Michele
Michele, thanks. Actually I am writing a text on Industrial Relations and Employment Law, but it is a couple of years away. In the meantime, you can always follow my main blog on the internet, the Apple App, or Twitter. Cheers, David
