Japanese Movie Week at the Japan Foundation
From Oct 9-12, 2007 the Japan Foundation Toronto (131 Bloor St W, 416-966-1600 ext 223, www.jftor.org) will screen four Japanese films during their annual Japanese Movie Week. Admission is free.
Tuesday Oct 9 at 7:30pm–The Castle of Cagliostro directed by Miyazaki Hayao
Wednesday Oct 10 at 7:30pm–Train Man (Densha otoko) by Murakami Shosuke
Thursday Oct 11 at 7:30pm–Sanjuro by Kurosawa Akira
Friday Oct 12 at 7:30pm–Linda Linda Linda by Yamashita Nobuhiro
On Saturday Oct 13 two Japanese films will be shown at the Isabel Bader Theatre (93 Charles St W) as part of the theatre’s Japanese Film Screenings 2007. Twilight Samurai (Tasogare seibei) at 1pm and Kamikaze Girls at 3:30. Admission is also free.
