More about Ann Gray

 

Dr. Ann Gray is currently a lecturer in Cultural Studies at the University of Birmingham. In addition to her study on VCR, some recent works of Gray published after Video Playtime include:

  • Studying Culture: An Introductory Reader;
  • Turning It on: A reader in women and Media;
  • Learning from Experience: cultural studies and feminism.

Currently, Dr. Gray is working on a book within Cultural Studies based on ethnographic research methods. She aims to produce a user-friendly text that is intended to help students on research projects. Another topic of interest to Dr. Gray the way in which women are turning consumer skills and competencies into marketable skills in the workplace.
