Strengths in Cracking the Gender Code

Millar's research on the role of women in the future as depicted by "Wired" magazine is a major strength in her book. Using found data, along with her own in-depth research of Wired magazine she was able to state strong facts and was able to support them with good theories. Throughout her book, she went in great detail describing "Wired" magazine's every effort to target the upper class white male while ignoring this "other" group. Millar does a great job in illustrating how women, poor, minorities, and the technology illiterate will not be included in this artificial world of the future created by "Wired".
